In many villages there are a great number of young ladies who are poor and helpless and have no practical way of earning money. In association with suitable churches, when we have sufficient funds, we set up sewing centers where we train such ladies to sew, to knit and to do embroidery work.
A sewing centre would consist of two foot powered sewing machines where up to 50 women can learn at a time over a six month period. After this time many of the ladies graduate and receive a certificate. This course equips girls and ladies to get a job, or work at home to make clothes, toys etc from which they can make some money. To conduct a sewing training center its costing us $900 dollars
